My name is Helen Younger and I started A Touch of Magic in 1997. I work
from my studio in Boxmoor, Hemel Hempstead and travel to clients' weddings around the country to give them the make-up
they require. I aim to offer my clients a very personal service. I specialise in make-up, nails (both natural and Bio
Scuplture gels) and pedicures.
Make-up
My make-up training started in 1992 in London with Linda Meredith who was an inspiration. I then
went to the London College of Fashion to expand my knowledge. In more recent years I have carried on my training with courses
in Fashion and Photographic make-up. It is important to keep up with the new products and trends.
I mainly use MAC cosmetics as I find I can always rely on them for the longevity needed for wedding
and special occasion make-up. I do, of course, have a variety of other professional and High Street brands to suit everyone's
needs.
Nails
My training for nails started in 1990. I have used many different products and have found that Bio Sculpture
gel nails are the kindest to the natural nail and give a beautiful finish. I also offer manicures and pedicures.
